Sharon joined the Board in 2001 and serves as Vice-President. She is the widow of founding board member, Michael Hylton (d.1998), a hemophiliac who was infected with the AIDS virus in the early 1980s. Sharon has traveled extensively in Asia and Africa with HIV as well as England, Belize, and North America. Sharon maintains our database and works with our donors. She is a former teacher, librarian, and business owner, and a loving mother and grandmother and is active in her church, Desert Shores Community Bible Church. She has 10 grandchildren.
