Promise's Story:

Promise lost both of her parents to HIV/AIDS, first in 2021 and then in 2024. She lives in one of the most remote villages of Uganda with her aunt. Promise’s support is always on the head of her aunt who is financially unstable like most African women. The family of eleven people has challenges in accessing food and proper accommodations, which has put the little girl at risk. She walks a distance of one kilometer to access the school.
