We’re thrilled to learn of your interest in joining our upcoming mission trip, HIVAfrica 2024, to Tanzania from June 18 through July 2, 2024. Tanzania’s rich culture and history within the African continent present a unique opportunity for us to make a meaningful impact on the HIV/AIDS community. This journey promises to be a transformative experience for both you and those we aim to serve.
Our diverse team will comprise both medical and non-medical volunteers, each person sharing a personal expression of God’s love with the impoverished and needy. After traveling together from Los Angeles to Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, we will embark on a bus journey, conducting multiple “outreaches” in many different villages. The trip will conclude near Iringa, Tanzania, followed by an enriching safari.
Your contribution is valuable, whether through medical assistance, engaging with children, distributing clothing, providing reading glasses, or offering items like goats, hoes, machetes, and more. Together, we’ll laugh, cry, hug sweet kids, and share the hope that only Jesus can provide. I encourage you to pray about this opportunity, discuss it with your friends, family, and pastor.

Remember, this journey is tax-deductible, including donations made toward your trip. We ask that a total of $1800 be in your account by March 15, 2024, so we can buy your airline tickets. We then ask that a total of $3000 be in your account by April 15, 2024, and the remaining funds be received by May 1, 2024. Upon deposit, you’ll be assigned a unique number (AT24xx-0xx) for tracking donations towards your trip, and we’ll provide materials to help you reach your fundraising goal.
The cost of the HIVAfrica 2024 trip is $4,349, departing from Los Angeles. This covers airfare, accommodations in quality hotels, 2-meals daily, ground transportation, travel guide, licensed/insured drivers and travel insurance. Additionally, it includes a 2-day safari in a beautiful resort with diverse wildlife. Excluded costs are any personal costs, such as passport fees, visa, transportation to Los Angeles, required medical vaccinations (e.g., yellow fever), souvenirs, etc.
