Jonathan's Story:

Jonathan lives in one of Uganda’s remotest districts, in a family with five other siblings and a widowed mother. Jonathan lost his father to HIV in 2021. His mother has struggled to look after the family. Jonathan walks over 2 kilometers every morning to access school with a limited provision of scholastic support and other basic needs. His mother struggles to fed the family of six children. The family depends on cultivating small hired plots of land to grow food.
