Joy's Story:

Joy was abandoned by her mother when she was still very small, and her father later died from HIV/AIDS. Today, Joy lives with her maternal grandmother, a widow who is also HIV+ and very weak physically. Joy struggles with her health and is often sick. Her grandmother does her best to care for her, but they both live with very limited resources and need support to improve Joy’s health and provide for her basic necessities, especially education.
