Quelsi's Story:

Quelsi’s father died and his mother with four children had to run away from their village due to the stigma and discrimination they suffered because of HIV/AIDS. For a time they slept in a church until somebody gave them a piece of land to build a grass hut on. Everything they owned was lost during the cyclone and flood of 2022 and they have yet to recover. Quelsi’s mother is not able to keep a steady job because of her HIV/AIDS.
