Mingsohang from Nepal
Mingsohang’s Story:
Mingsohang lives with his grandmother as his mother passed away a year ago when he was four years old due to complications of AIDS. His father is unknown as Mingsohang is alive due to his mother being raped. Mingsohang's grandfather also passed away, so it is just him and his elderly grandmother. She worries for him as she is not able to work to properly care for him. Sympathetic villagers will sometimes share what little food they have with them. His grandmother worries that she will die and leave him on his own. She is praying that someone will come along side them to help Mingsohang attend school and provide food and clothing for him.Age: 5
