Fernando's Story:

When Fernando’s father died, no one from his father’s family come to the funeral and Fernando’s mother did not have any help with the children; she was abandoned. Neither her husband’s family nor her family provided help with the children. Fernando’s mother in her own critical condition of health is forced to go to the beach to buy and sell fish so that she can provide food for Fernando and his sisters as well as try to pay their school fees and for school materials. Fernando hopes to be sponsored so that he can continue on in school.
