I’m excited to hear about your interest in joining our upcoming mission trip, HIV Uganda 2025, from June 14 through June 30, 2025. Uganda’s vibrant culture and deep history within Africa provide a unique backdrop for our mission to support and uplift the HIV/AIDS community. This journey offers a life-changing experience for both you and the individuals we serve.
Our team will include both medical and non-medical volunteers, each bringing a personal expression of God’s love to the impoverished and needy. We will travel together from Los Angeles to Entebbe, Uganda, before embarking on a series of bus journeys to conduct multiple outreaches in various villages. The trip will culminate with a two-day safari adventure near Murchison Falls National Park.
Your contributions—whether through medical care, engaging with children, distributing clothing, providing reading glasses, or donating items like goats, farming tools, and more—will make a lasting impact. We’ll share laughter, tears, hugs, and the message of hope that only Jesus Christ can provide. Please pray about this opportunity and discuss it with your friends, family, and pastor.
If you’re ready to commit, please complete the application. Along with your application, submit a $300 deposit to secure your spot on the team. The journey is tax-deductible, including any donations made toward your trip. We ask that $1,800 be in your account by January 1, 2025, so we can purchase airline tickets. Then, a total of $3,000 by March 15, 2025, with the remaining balance due by May 1, 2025. Once your deposit is received, you’ll be assigned a unique number for tracking donations, and we’ll provide fundraising materials to assist you in meeting your goal.
The cost of the HIV Uganda 2025 trip is $4,250, departing from Los Angeles. This covers airfare, accommodations in quality hotels, two meals per day, ground transportation, a travel guide, licensed and insured drivers, and travel insurance. The cost also includes a two-day safari at a beautiful resort with abundant wildlife. Excluded expenses are personal items such as passport fees, visa, transportation to Los Angeles, required vaccinations (e.g., yellow fever), souvenirs, etc.
