The number of Congolese women living with HIV/AIDS is growing. UNAIDS estimates indicate that, at the end of 2001, more than 60% (670,000) of 1.1 million adults aged 15-49 currently living with HIV/AIDS were women. Infection rates among pregnant women tested in 1999 in major urban areas ranged from 2.7 to 5.4%. Outside the major urban areas, 10.5% of pregnant women tested in 2001 were HIV-positive…

the Infected and Affected persons in Congo are facing extreme challenges, characterized by the lack of basic needs…the DRC is linked to the lack of HIV/AIDS ‘s medications and the lack of peace and the lack of a peace (with more than 10 years of successive wars ), that cause more thousands died each day and thousands of orphans/kids wander dirt paths picking garbage looking something to eat…

Indeed, in the war against this worse situation we are crying out to the churches, individuals, Christians, organizations etc… with a compassionate heart to help to bring Hope to these needy, like the Bible says in the book of Ecclesiatic 11:1

“cast your Bread upon the waters for you will find it after many days “

Be blessed.
